Enhance Your Smile
Teeth Whitening in Simpsonville
Teeth stains are a fact of life. As we age and consume beverages like coffee, tea, and wine, or eat dark-colored foods like berries and tomatoes, stains can build up on tooth enamel. Certain lifestyle choices, like smoking or chewing tobacco, can also contribute to staining. Even if you avoid these habits, the natural aging process can leave teeth dull and discolored. But you’re not stuck with stains! At Pearl Dental Studio, we offer both take-home and in-office whitening treatments to remove stains from your teeth and help you feel more confident!
Take-Home vs. In-Office
Teeth Whitening Treatments
At our office, we offer both in-office and take-home whitening treatments. Our in-office whitening treatments are performed by Dr. Cash. Treatment times vary, but you can typically expect the process to take between 1-2 hours, depending on your level of staining and the desired shade of your teeth. Dr. Cash will paint a special compound on your gums to protect them, then she will apply a whitening gel to your teeth that lifts stains from your enamel. The whitening gel will then be rinsed away to reveal a bright, white smile.
If you opt for take-home whitening, Dr. Cash will create a set of custom trays designed to fit over your teeth perfectly and she will provide you with a professional whitening compound to enhance your smile in the comfort of your own home.
Why Choose Teeth Whitening?
Understanding The Benefits
The biggest benefit of teeth whitening is that it can instantly make you feel better about how you look. Teeth whitening also makes you appear younger, since yellowing and staining are typically associated with advanced age. Teeth whitening is very affordable and completely non-invasive. It’s a great way to get started with cosmetic dentistry!
What’s Right for Me?
Choosing Your Whitening Treatment
Both in-office and take-home whitening deliver similar results. In-office whitening is faster and can provide you with a brighter smile in just a single appointment. If you would like a white smile for an upcoming special occasion, this option may be best suited for your needs
In contrast, take-home whitening allows you to treat your smile in the comfort of your own home. This treatment takes a bit longer, but some patients prefer these more gradual results because it is less obvious that you have been whitening your teeth as they will get brighter over time as opposed to an immediate change. Still not sure which treatment is right for you? Contact Dr. Cash for a consultation to discuss your whitening needs!
